Artificial Intelligence: SA will only publish bands that comply with Bandcamp's rules.
If an artist still has a page on Bandcamp, even if they claim to use AI, it means their work is approved by the platform, which does not consider the use of technology detrimental to content creation.
Examples: Copperplate and Glasstrees, bands that use artificial intelligence throughout their work, were banned from Bandcamp. In the Afterglow claims to use it only partially, so it remains on the platform. Therefore, we will continue publishing In the Afterglow. Recently, a question arose regarding JanesWish, so we will no longer publish them – but we will keep the albums published so far until this question is clarified.
Bandcamp is the most rigorous platform regarding the use of artificial intelligence in music composition, so we adopt its rules. And we apply them to bands that use other platforms. If a certain artist uses Artificial Intelligence and publishes on Spotify, we will check if they have a Bandcamp page. If they don't, we won't publish it on Shoegazer Alive.
